SEPTEMBER 20, 21, 22, 25 - David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center

The New York Philharmonic will present the world premiere of Filament for orchestra, instrumental soloists, and moving voices. The NY Phil commissioned this piece for the inaugural concert of Jaap van Zweden, the new music director. Performances will be in the evenings September 20, 21, 22, and 25 in David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. Tickets here.

The Daad Galarie presented the mikromusik Festival experimenteller Musik und Sound Art to premiere the work of their newest artists-in-residents, including Ashley Fure (2018-2019 Artist-in-Residence).

Lincoln Center presents The Force of Things: An Opera for Objects at Gelsey Kirkland Arts in Brooklyn, NY. Created in collaboration with architect Adam Fure and the International Contemporary Ensemble, The Force of Things is an immersive work of music theater that wrestles with the animate vitality of matter and the mounting hum of ecological anxiety around us.

The Force of Things: An Opera of Objects by  Ashley Fure and Adam Fure, draws from traditions of object theater and puppetry.
